Next step: the exhibition opened at the Historic Museum of Shkodër on July 24, 2025, as part of the 9th edition of Za Fest. What followed exceeded all expectations: over 24,000 people visited during the three-day festival!
The opening night featured Albanian competition winner Ema Bregu and opening remarks by the EU Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato. Festival-goers engaged with the art in a completely different context, creating spontaneous dialogues about identity and migration. The festival setting proved that art can bridge formal policy discussions and grassroots cultural expression.
