The exhibition opened at Montenegro’s stunning Black Lake during the Green Montenegro Film Festival (August 1-3, 2025). And wow, what a setting! Three days of art and environmental films against the incredible backdrop of Durmitor National Park.
EU Ambassador Johann Sattler kicked things off with opening remarks that really captured what this is all about:

Montenegrin artist Milica Knežević‘s piece “Silent Ties” felt perfect in this mountain setting. Her dreamlike collage about childhood landscapes and the choice between leaving and staying really hit different surrounded by those pristine waters and stunning nature.
